It delivers 25 percent more blowing force than the BRA 200 yet still weighs less than a case of water—just 24 pounds with two AP 300 S batteries. Designed for professionals who demand more, it features a full handle-mounted HMI display that gives you real-time battery status, speed control, service alerts, and access to energy-saving modes. Through the STIHL App and Connected Portal, you can track performance, plan maintenance, and optimize your workflow like never before. The BRA 280 also features STIHL’s constant power technology, which means you get full, unrelenting performance from the first trigger pull to the last second of battery life. And with its low-noise operation, it’s perfect for early morning starts in residential neighborhoods, school campuses, or hospital grounds. Imagine clearing a city sidewalk at dawn without waking a soul or finishing a job before lunch without ever stopping to change batteries. The BRA 280 is more than a blower—it’s a connected, intelligent tool built to keep pace with the demands of modern landscaping and municipal work.

Features

Constant Power: CONSTANT POWER, REGARDLESS OF BATTERY CHARGE STATUS. With other brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.

Cruise Control: KEEP THE THROTTLE POSITION CONSTANT FOR LONGER PERIODS. You can lock the throttle at any preferred position, even between levels. This relieves the strain on your index finger during longer periods of continual use.

Boost Mode for Blowers: TO QUICKLY SWITCH TO MAXIMUM BLOWING FORCE. Extra pressure to activate the second stage on the trigger switch of your STIHL blower immediately activates maximum blowing force. This happens regardless of the pre-selected power level and without having to change your grip position.

Sequential Discharge: With sequential discharge, there's no need to swap out batteries.
