The STIHL BT 131 earth auger combines high performance with a lightweight design for professionals tackling post-hole digging, fence installation, large planting projects, environmental restoration and construction projects. Its powerful, fuel-efficient engine and larger fuel tank help you work longer between refuels, while the vertical pleated air filter helps improve air supply quality and extend service life.
The BT 131 is designed to make the work easier from the moment you start. Its semi-automatic choke lever simplifies starting and helps reduce the chance of flooding, while the ergonomic design provides the control and comfort you need while helping reduce fatigue. If the auger bit hits a hard underground impediment, the STIHL Quickstop® auger brake is designed to automatically stop the bit from turning, giving you added control when you need it.
